Services
OSA Private Tax Advisory.
Strategy first · Preparation optional · Support after filing
A year-round tax strategy relationship built around your circumstances, your existing professional team, and a defined implementation plan.
Service structure
Five services, and how each one is sold.
The difference between included, optional, and separately engaged is the most important thing to understand before a proposal arrives.

Your existing team
Keep Your CPA. Add a Tax Strategy Team.
You do not have to change tax preparers to work with OSA. We can develop the strategy, coordinate implementation, and provide the analysis and records your existing CPA needs to evaluate the reporting.
OSA Strategy + Your Existing CPA. OSA handles the agreed strategy and coordination work. Your preparer evaluates, prepares, and files the returns within that professional's engagement.
OSA Strategy + OSA Preparation. One coordinated process from planning through preparation, filing, and the defined Position Defense benefit for qualifying returns.
Strategy documentation and CPA coordination are part of the agreed advisory scope. Position Defense for OSA-prepared returns does not automatically extend to a return prepared by another professional. Any additional review, notice response, or representation is separately identified in writing.
Fees
Quoted to scope, in writing.
Your proposal identifies the services, fees, payment schedule, and engagement term. Additional preparation, audit support, and controversy work are charged only as stated in the accepted scope. Material coverage limits and exclusions are supplied before enrollment.
There is no checkout on this site and no published rate card. Services are quoted against the scope your situation actually requires, and the proposal identifies the services, fees, payment schedule, and term before anything begins.
The method
How we think about the work.
Save, Protect, and Grow are the sequence the advisory relationship runs on. They explain the order of the work; the services above are what appears on a proposal.
Scope
What we do not do.
Being explicit about this is part of doing the work properly.
We do not provide legal services
Odyssey Strategic Advisors is not a law firm and is not a CPA firm. Legal services are separate, require a separate engagement, and are not included in OSA services.
We do not take your preparation by default
Preparation is optional and separately scoped. You can keep your existing CPA and engage OSA only for strategy and coordination, and that is a normal way to work with us rather than a lesser one.
We do not provide investment advice
Current OSA services do not include securities recommendations, portfolio management, trading, or asset custody. A future investment offering is described separately and is not available today.
We do not sell a product
The deliverable is a written strategy and its implementation. If part of the sequence is already handled well by someone else, we will say so.
We do not promise an outcome
Tax positions are specific to facts, and facts and law both change. What we commit to is a documented, supportable position, a sequence reviewed on a cadence, and defined support for the positions we report on qualifying returns.
Begin
Work out which services you actually need.
Most people need fewer than they expect, and in a different order than they assumed.
Engagements typically begin at $2M+ of annual income, or a comparable taxable event.
