Careers
A small firm, hiring deliberately.
6 open roles · Remote, United States
We advise clients whose income arrives in a complicated shape, and the work is technical, senior, and accountable. We are building the bench that lets the practice hold that standard as it grows.
How we hire
Six seats, each with a reason.
Every one of these seats exists because a specific part of the work currently has no owner. We would rather hire six people properly across a year than twenty quickly, and nobody here inherits a file they were not part of building.
We are direct about fit. The work suits people who are comfortable saying a client should not do something, who write clearly, and who would rather be right in April than agreeable in October. It does not suit anyone looking for volume.

How the group is arranged
Three practices, working together.
Strategy, legal, and accounting sit in separate professional practices. That separation is deliberate and it is required, and it shapes what each of these roles is responsible for.
Odyssey Strategic Advisors
Strategy, diagnostics, and coordination. Not a law firm and not a CPA firm. Most of the roles on this page sit here.
McClintock Tax Law LLC
A separate and independent law practice. Legal services, tax opinions, and representation are provided by that firm under its own engagement.
An affiliated CPA practice
Being built now. The Director of Tax is the founding hire and will own its registration, standards, and team.
These are affiliated but separate practices. Engaging one does not engage another, and professional services are provided only by the practice qualified to provide them, under its own written engagement.
Nothing quite right?
We read speculative applications.
If you are strong in this field and none of the six is your seat, write to us anyway. Tell us what you would own and why. We have created roles for the right person before.
Apply
Tell us which seat is yours.
A short note about the role and what you would bring is enough to start. We reply to everyone.
Engagements typically begin at $2M+ of annual income, or a comparable taxable event.
